Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost?

Therapy creates a space for you to experience healing and progress in a way that can change your life! It is also an investment of both time and finances. When you ready to commit to healing and transformation, here is what you can expect:

When you finally decide to invest in therapy, it is an indication that you are ready for change. As your therapist, I will partner with you to support you in achieving your goals in the most efficient way possible.

If you have financial concerns, I do offer limited sliding-scale appointments based on need. Please speak to me directly if you feel that you qualify for this kind of support.

Payment is due at the beginning of each session. See below for an example of a typical out-of-pocket investment in therapy.

Individual Therapy (both/either in person or online)

Initial intake appointment (85 minutes)       $175
Hypnotherapy session (85 minutes)              $175
Standard individual session (55 minutes)     $125
Extended sessions (per every 30 minutes)    $50

Couples Therapy

Initial intake appointment (85 minutes)        $175
Standard couples’ session (85 minutes)         $175
Extended sessions (per every 30 minutes)    $50

How long does therapy take?

Most of my clients benefit from a short-term treatment approach. This approach is generally to address a specific goal or obstacle and usually extends to about 10 – 15 sessions.

Following the initial phase, many clients may choose to continue with ongoing therapy as part of their self-care routine. If you do decide to carry on, I will work with you to determine the best individualized treatment plan to help you meet your goals.

During our initial consultation, we will create an individualized treatment plan as well as an estimated timeline for how long therapy may take. These determinations are based solely on your presenting concerns, which may change over time.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not currently participate in any insurance panels. Your insurance may offer a reimbursement of the fees you pay. Please contact your provider directly to learn if your coverage includes therapy. If needed, I am happy to provide you with a detailed invoice as well as any other supporting documentation required for reimbursement.

In my experience, if your insurance does cover therapy, it will only cover our face-to-face sessions and not online therapy sessions.

Can I access online therapy?

I now offer online therapy through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. For those of you who travel for work or for anyone who needs some extra support in-between sessions, online therapy might be a good fit. Please speak to me directly to find out more about online therapy.
