We respect all peoples, ages, cultures, relationship structures, and identities, offering compassionate non-judgemental equitable services through consistent standards of care.
Model of Integrated Care
We are dedicated to providing exceptional care for couples and families through our Model of Integrated Care. Our collaborative approach allows us to offer a range of therapeutic services to support the entire family system when clinically indicated.
For children and adolescents receiving individual services, we also offer Family Therapy sessions that may include parents, siblings, or other caregivers. Similarly, our Couple’s Therapy can be supplemented with Individual Therapy services for one or both partners. In certain cases, we may refer clients to our contracted Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner for medical health and wellness treatment, including medication.
By adopting this integrated care approach, we can provide comprehensive support to individuals and their families, catering to those who may benefit from a higher level of support. This model also allows for a Care Team approach, with multiple professionals working collaboratively to ensure the highest quality of care. Through shared knowledge and expertise, our therapists can effectively serve clients and their families, resulting in more positive outcomes. Choosing Integrated Care at ALTC ensures that you have a team of qualified therapists working on behalf of your family.
Disclaimer:
We are not an Intensive Outpatient Program. Clients experiencing acute symptoms that result in a higher level of risk will be referred to facilities and providers that can offer a higher level of care or specialized treatment.
Leadership Team
Anchorlight Leadership represents a dedicated group of professionals who steer the direction of our Behavioral Health Agency with passion and expertise.
Laura Richer
Founder
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Washington State Approved Clinical Supervisor, I have primarily focused on working with adult couples and individuals, always harboring a strong desire to help others through relationships.
This includes developing a loving and positive relationship with the self, as well as with the individuals we are close to and the people in our various communities. The quality of our relationships is foundational in cultivating and maintaining positive mental health. After years of practicing as an independent provider I really craved more professional community and began to imagine what an inspired team of mental health professionals could accomplish working together.
I created Anchor Light Therapy in 2019 to with the intention of providing high quality mental health care that could reach a larger demographic that included more diverse populations. The need to have a broader reach that included couples, families, and children was only reinforced by the unexpected occurrence of a global pandemic in 2020. The increased demand for mental health services was undeniable and thankfully our agency rose to meet this challenge with an incredible community of talented therapists ready to help our clients through these trying times. I am immensely proud that we have been able to expand at such a rapid rate. Through teamwork and collaboration, we have been able to offer quality care that surpasses anything I could ever offer as an individual.
This fuels my commitment to excellence, continued growth, and building a family of mental health professionals who gives back to our community. As a licensed Behavioral Health Agency, we are dedicated to elevating the standards of mental health care. Our team is committed to providing the highest quality mental health services, rooted in evidence-based practices and ethical values. We foster meaningful relationships between our therapists and clients while creating a learning environment that lets us stay informed on mental health care advances. Our collaborative approach ensures each client receives tailored treatment plans and high-quality care and has a team of mental health professionals working on their behalf.

Couples, Individual, & Online Therapy in Seattle, WA
We work with individuals and couples in the Seattle area, but we also offer secure, HIPAA-compliant online therapy throughout Washington state. Our specialized training includes individual therapy, hypnotherapy, and couples therapy using the Gottman Method. Online therapy is highly regulated; there are a few specific protocols that must be followed, and it is available for couples seeking relationship counseling.
Regardless of whether you choose distance or in-person therapy sessions, our individualized approach to mental health and wellness takes a wide range of modalities into consideration. The first objective is to create a supportive and compassionate environment—a place where you feel safe releasing difficult emotions and breaking down the barriers between the life you have and the life you want. As soon as it feels comfortable, we’ll explore the different evidence-based approaches that best suit where you’re at and where you’d like to be. We always move at your pace in a way that feels good for you.
