Focus Areas

“I am passionate about empowering my clients and improving their lives. I believe this is possible for every individual and every couple. My therapeutic approach is holistic, integrative, and personal to you – meaning there is no “one size fits all” template that I follow. I honor the uniqueness of humans and their individual life experiences.

Because therapy can sometimes be intimidating, I will go as fast or as slow as you need. I will create a warm and comfortable space to tell your story as you journey towards a more authentic and capable you.”

More About Michelle

You and I will tailor a therapeutic plan to create a meaningful and healthy life. I draw from a variety of treatment modalities, providing holistic care that honors your unique experience and worldview.

My passion is to help you heal from trauma, attachment wounds, and adversity. I focus on healing anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, grief, OCD, addiction disorders, and healing relationship challenges for couples.

During our time together, I will provide non-judgemental, humanistic, and culturally inclusive counseling to create hope and meaningful, lasting changes.

I am trained in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, The Gottman Method Level 2 of Couples Counseling,  Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CPT and more.

Born and raised just outside of Detroit Michigan, I first worked for one of the largest Animal Welfare Organizations in the country after graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in 2006.

10 years later, I returned to school to follow my other calling – working with people. Through both personal and clinical experience, I have gained a gift for connecting with and sharing empathy with others.

For the last 7 years, I have worked in various mental health settings gaining a breadth of experience with many populations and modalities of counseling.

Outside of meeting with clients, I enjoy swimming, gardening, true crime, football, naps, and finding peace in nature.
