More About Hannah

I believe humans are born with inherent goodness, with innate cravings for intimacy and connection, and a profoundly resilient capacity to heal. That being said, I understand how hard it can be to ask for help. Rest assured knowing psychotherapy is not about pinpointing faults; but instead a thrilling and sometimes terrifying process of unfolding, becoming, and returning to one’s authentic self. This journey involves better understanding how you relate as a uniquely individual self and within the context of your relationships, all while cultivating a sturdy sense of internal goodness.

My psychotherapeutic approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and firmly allied with BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities. While I am passionate about helping adolescents and adults, my expertise extends to couples, emphasizing healing from traumatic experiences, coping with stressful life circumstances, and cultivating enriched satisfaction with life.

Psychotherapy requires collaboration to effect meaningful change. I am dedicated to actively listening, customizing treatment approaches, and utilizing integrative methods to meet the specific needs of individuals, couples, and groups. Describing my role as deeply human, nurturing, empathic, intuitive, straightforward, and collaborative, functioning as a facilitator in your process of development and healing.

My extensive training encompasses trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and draw from a diverse array of therapeutic approaches, such as Psychodynamic Relational, Attachment Theory, Trauma Narrative, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Nervous System Regulation.

In my downtime, I play on a recreational rugby team, enjoy restorative yoga, weightlifting, hydrotherapy spa days and spending time with friends and my two adorable cats, Cooper and Kuina.
