Focus Areas
“I believe that each person has innate abilities and strengths to help them overcome issues and challenges that are impacting their lives and that each person has the power to improve their lives and relationships. My goal is to help clients attend to and understand their emotional and relational needs both inside and outside the therapy room so that clients may feel empowered and in charge of their own journey toward health and healing.
Therapy is a journey, and change can often be scary and challenging. I will provide a safe and supportive space where you can be seen and heard and be able to openly share and explore your mental and emotional needs, free of judgment. My goal is to meet you where you are and tailor my treatment approach to fit your personal and unique needs”

More About Eryn
I believe that therapy is a co-created partnership between the client and therapist, with the client being the expert in their own life and experiences. Each therapeutic relationship is different and I value my client’s perspectives, interests, internal and external motivators, cultural background, and lived experiences.
I am here to facilitate and work alongside you in accomplishing your goals in a way that feels natural, authentic, and true to you. I am passionate about helping you heal from trauma and adversity and enjoy working with children and teens over the age of 7, as well as families and parents.
I use a holistic, integrative, and personal approach to treatment that incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment methods to support my clients unique needs. I work from a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral framework, helping individuals I work with to understand the connection between their lived experience, thoughts, emotions, behaviors and relationships. I focus on culturally competent and trauma informed care to support your goals.
Before becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) I worked within various child mental health care systems for the past 7 years, providing care coordination and hands on skill building support to children within residential and hospital settings, as well as school and home/community settings. My experience has given me a unique perspective and understanding of the many sectors that impact a child and family’s life, and how to help clients navigate and create change in all areas of their life. This training and experience has prepared me to work with individuals of all ethnicities, races, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations, and with a wide variety of mental health concerns including autism and developmental disabilities.
About me: I am a Pacific Northwest native, but enjoy traveling around the world, as I value learning about and embracing alternative perspectives and cultures. In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, going to see live music and spending time with my cat and dog.
