More About Samantha
It’s my wish that all beings can live authentic and meaningful lives and I strive to help my clients do just that. I believe in meeting my clients where they’re at so that we can create a road map to help them live their best lives. I approach therapy with warmth, non-judgment, compassion, and kindness.
Prior to working in the mental health field, I spent over 10 years in the yoga and fitness industry, and bring movement into the therapeutic experience when necessary. I obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Saint Mary’s in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When working with my clients in session I utilize evidence based practices such as ACT, CBT, and CPT. I also utilize other mindfulness based approaches such as Mindful Self-Compassion and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to help my clients establish useful and meaningful mindfulness practices in their lives.
