More About Colin

I offer a collaborative approach to analyzing, understanding, and approaching the issues my clients are faced with. Through this process you and I will work together to build a treatment that is best suited to your needs. We will focus on building skills that will help you meet your goals and give you the tools you need to overcome the stresses and challenges life may present. By working together, we can find a balance between what is helpful and practical for your specific situation.

Through my lived experience I developed a passion for helping people overcome challenging times. In the past 5 years I have worked in homeless services, inpatient care, and community mental health settings. My work has involved working with children, adolescents, and adults. This experience deepened my perspective and pushed me to return to school to get my Master’s in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington.

I have experience working with and treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, adjustment disorders, as well as addressing interpersonal conflict.

Currently, I hold a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate title and I’m actively working towards full licensures. My practice incorporates elements of DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, The Gottman Method, and other evidence-based practices.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy writing, live music, martial arts, and painting model kits.
