About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including children, couples, families, and adult individuals. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, committed to ongoing professional development, and skilled in creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client-centered approaches.
  • Provide therapy sessions to children, couples, families, and adult individuals, addressing a wide range of mental health issues and life challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, schools, and community organizations as needed to support clients’ overall well-being.
  • Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.
  • Uphold the values and ethical standards of Anchor Light Therapy Collective and the mental health profession.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active, unrestricted license (or registered associate status) in the state of WA to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing therapy to children, couples, families, and adult individuals, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to cultural humility, inclusivity, and ongoing learning about diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000 to $90,000 based on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for performance-based bonuses, reflecting the commitment to client growth and therapeutic success.
